3 months from now Martin would be in hospital

In my own tribute to Ballscientist I feel like asking a question about tonights game.

3 months YES OR NO Oden would have broken Martin on dunk attempt.

(I am trying to ask if anyone thinks that when his timing comes back and he is in game shape wouldn't Oden have destroyed that dunk attempt?)

Maybe he would have fouled him but I think he will reject stuff like that in the future.

No. I think it was a sick play by Martin ( who I actually have no respect for as a player) and Greg came over to help a split second late.

I think you're grammar is too good for this to be a Ballscientist post, but as for the question, I think the answer is "no," Martin is just a damn good baller and made a great play.

Really? I don't think he was that far off from getting it tonight. I know that he had MF and all but before the surgery he would have gotten a lot higher. I know Martin is really good but even the announcers were talking about his ankles being the smallest in the league. He just isn't a big guy.

If Greg gets three fingers on that ball it isn't going in. IMO

Mostly he just didn't react fast enough, Martin is fast but he came from about the free throw line right?

In fact, I didn't hear anyone say GO got posterized which I attribute to the fact that he wasn't standing there ready to stop the dunk. He was just slow rotating.

I think Shaq would have sent that dude packing in his prime, so maybe 3 months from now is an overstatement but I don't think it is that far off.

I just thought of something, maybe Greg doesn't want to hurt his wrist again. I know he could break Martin's arm but why risk it?

I just don't think he brings anything else to the court but scoring. I like the kind of player that can do more then one thing well. Example- BRoy, Pip or JKidd.

You know I'd admit it if it was like that, but it wasn't really. The player who got schooled was Rudy! Kmart snapped his ankles on a crossover and went up and dunked it between Greg and LA. The two bigs reacted late and showed up as Martin threw it down. It wasn't really over anybody. But Rudy probably had to get re-taped!

Actually I just saw it on the ESPN video-recaps of the game, and it wasn't that 'nasty'; it was a great crossover by Kmart, but the big's were just late because of Kmart's speed to the hoop on that play.

Rudy does need to get re-taped :D

Greg isn't going to stop every single dunk attempt and other players in the league are capable of dunking the ball, even over Greg. Stop treating him like he has to be perfect.
