Wenger Gunning For Another Euro Win

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to follow up the weekend win over Everton by claiming another three points in Arsenal's Champions League clash with Fenerbache.

Business resumes in the Champions League this evening when Arsenal take on Fenerbache in Istanbul and head coach Arsene Wenger wants another three points to add to their draw over Dynamo Kyiv and home win against FC Porto.

It is the opportune time to take on the Turkish giants as they have only picked up one point in Europe, and are 10th in their domestic league.

Wenger has already spoken about the intimidating atmosphere that the Fener fans can drum up, but has warned his opponents that his Guns will remain unfazed. Now he has stated that Arsenal will play to win, despite being away from home.

"It is a big night for us," Wenger told the club's official website.

"They have dropped many points already in the Champions League and it is important to start in the right way so we don’t give them the needed confidence.

"I am not worried about the atmosphere but we have to play to dictate our game. We don’t have a team who is built to defend more than attack. We will play. We will want to attack," he said.

William Gallas, Bacary Sagna, and Mikael Silvestre are currently injured, and Wenger added: "We can not lose any more defenders that is for sure... But we will start with the team that finished the game against Everton."

He continued: "I feel Fenerbahce are a team who have not had the best start...But they still have top class players in every position.

"They have a lot of offensive potential because they have many Brazilians in their squad. Also they have players who have played in England like Emre and Colin Kazim-Richards. Then there is Daniel Guiza, who plays for Spain, and Roberto Carlos," Wenger added.

"Also they have a remarkable player for the final ball - Alex. He is very good at the final solution.

"You expect them to put us under pressure with their offensive play so you have to defend well against a team like that," he concluded.
