Just found my 'Brian Scalabrine Basketball Camp' shirt I got free at game#4 of the '04 Nets-Pistons playoffs.

I believe that was the last triple double Kidd got in a 2nd rd playoff game.

CAA was insane that night, and I was SCREAMING at Larry Brown.

Still really miss Scallops.

I kinda understand what you are saying, but things got SO MUCH SADDER after that playoff series.

 

And why is that?

 

Even though the Nets went to two finals, that was the best chance for them to win it all. It's actually sadder now that we know how it all ended.

Didnt Kidd average a triple double in both playoff series in 2006-07?

My apologies. Kidd did have a trip-dub in game#3 of '07 Cavs-Nets 2nd rd playoff series.

 

Here's something that sucks.

In 2002 the top three teams in the East were all teams that missed the playoffs the previous year and hadn't really been consistently good: Nets, Pistons, Celtics.

Celtics and Pistons got their titles, we haven't.

 

I'm sorry you feel that way. Being a sports fan should never make you sad. To me, it's about enjoyment.

 

To me it's about my favorite team doing everything they can to win a championship. But I do appreciate the journey no matter how long and frustrating it is.

 

Are we still talking about the Nets?

 

I'm not sad, It just kinda sucks that's all.

Doesn't change my view on those years at all. It was a blast.

 

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a Nets' fan these past four decades, through good times and bad.
