Heath Ledger unanimously won two awards without even needing to mention the nominees, they just gave him Best Villain and Best Fantasy Character. Good man. The show started with Anthony Hopkins! They had Stan Lee there. And they ended with the Icon Award to GEORGE FRIGGIN LUCAS! I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so its always eye-watering to see Star Wars get recognized for more and more awards and accolades. he got escorted by about 50 stormstroopers, and was introduced by Sam Jackson.

Re: Random Thought Thread (NSFW) well it looks like I'll be losing my job anytime now..........worked in a real estate office for 6 plus years and now a company which was once BOOMING a few years back is now not making any money at all (actually losing it instead). I've witnessed corporate chains of title companies, mortgage offices, etc. close down. It's only logical to think that big time real estate chains will be the next to go.................I haven't officially lost my job yet, but they're cutting back on my hours majorly and laying off some people on Friday. I can't even smile at some people, because in my heart I know they're going to be so dissapointed on Friday when they find out they have no job......................................these are tough times we're living in right now. Only reason why my company kept me is, because I've been here for so long........oh well.................

Re: Random Thought Thread (NSFW) jemele has her moments for me....sometimes she leaves me with the "WTF" look on my face, and at other times she actually has pretty thought provoking commentary (particulary on issues of racism in sports)......overall I'd say she's pretty good for the most part. To be honest as much as the avg. fan rags on ESPN commentators, writers, studio personalities, etc. I find myself agreeing with a lot of what most of them say. YES Stephen A. is a loud mouth, but the majority of the time what he says is accurate YES Skip Bayless can be over the board sometime with his hatred, but I find it to be very entertaining and I even find myself agreeing with many of his viewpoints.
Re: Random Thought Thread (NSFW) Skip Bayless just goes out of his way to discredit 'Prince James' and 'Tony Romeo'. He's just an overly-cynical asshole, IMO. Stephen A I agree with occasionally, but the main reason I make a point to watch him is his rants just fucking kill me sometimes.

Re: Random Thought Thread (NSFW) I live in NY, and so far, I'm looking at John Jay, Brooklyn College, Baruch, Hunter, Keene State College, New Paltz, St. Francis, Potsdam, and Buffalo State. Keene is the only college out of state.
