I currently have Iggy, but seeing now that he is the number 2 option, would it be a smart move to propose a trade for Rudy Gay? I mean Gay is obviously going to have the opportunities this year...
Iggy gives you a lot of categories but I would go with Rudy Gay. I always go with the superstar on the terrible team. Mayo is not going to affect Rudy Gay, these two are the only scoring options so there will be plenty of shots to go around.
I don't know if you can really go wrong with either. Even though Iggy is going to be a number 2 option, I still think he'll be putting up close to 20ppg. He's also going to stuff the stat sheet. He's going to probably get 5-7rpg along with 5-7apg, shoot somewhere between 45-50% from the floor, probably give you 100+ treys on 35%, and then 2spg to top it off. Gay, on the other hand, will likely get you 20+ppg and 6rpg, plus a 100+ treys and a bloc, but the rest of his stat sheet could be kind of hollow. In my book, if you want to get an absolute stat sheet stuffer, you should go with Iggy. If you want scoring only, go with Rudy.
