You guys were so lucky you guys didn't have any major injuries....I swear, before last season started, I said that if any of the big three get injured for A LONG period of time (Like Bynum's injury), you guys wouldn't win the championship.

But that is no excuse. Champions come down to skill, drive, will, heart, and a little luck (this is where health comes into play).

If Boston stays healthy, who can beat them? (I've been out of touch with basketball since the finals...I shifted my focus to baseball and football) The loss of Posey hurts Boston, but enough to drop them from the Finals?

Who do you think replaces Boston out of the East? Detroit? the LeBrons?

From everything I've read, Boston hasn't lost their hunger to repeat as Champions and they should have improved play from their young guys, Rondo, Powe, Big Baby etc.

Do you think losing Posey will make a significant difference in them coming out of the East?

I really think their success is going to fall heavily on Ray Allen this season. He was awful in the playoffs last year and only got it going in the NBA Finals. I can't see him struggling that much two years in a row.

I don't like the frontline rotation for the Pistons, Amir Johnson, Kwame, Maxiell, McDyess. Surprisingly Kwame does a decent job on KG, but he's a liability on the offensive end and Boston would double team him everytime he's in the game. None of those players really put pressure on Boston's interior defense and you never know which Sheed is going to show up for Detroit.

I'd love to see a rematch with a different result! Lakers FTW!

yes losing posey will make a difference. The cavs also got Mo Williams. The cavs almost beat them last year with Bron and no help, because they matchup extremely well with them(Wallace and Verajo give KG fits, Bron outplays pierce, Allen is always a wildcard).........Bron has help this year. Boston's run last year wasn't that impressive either.....Remember that this is the same team that allowed the Hawks to take them to 7 games and the same team that didn't win a road game until the conference finals..........They're definitely beatable. I've witnessed dynasty like teams over the years and Boston doesn't come off to me as a team that will repeat. I think a couple of other teams can beat them out east also.........

It took time for the Celtics to mesh and for their bench to get comfortable winning away from home during the post season. Prior to last year most of the guys didn't have much post season experience if any. The Celtics finally put it together in the Finals and we saw the results of what they're capable of doing.

I agree, Cleveland matches up well and they can make another big move with Wally's expiring contract to add more help for James.

Philly and cavs have a good chance at beating boston in the east and rockets and maybe hornets can beat lakers in the west so i dont think there is going to be another boston vs L.A finals this year

You think Philly could beat Boston? Philly might not even be as good as Orlando this year, imo.

Based on Kobe and Lamar's statement I'm guessing they don't want to win a ring this year.

The Cavs will not beat the Celtics, the Hornets will not beat the Lakers. 76ers beating the C's and the Rockets beating the Lakers is possible.

I don't see the 76er's beating the Celtics and I don't see the LeBron's doing it, either. I don't think Mo Williams is that much of an upgrade.
