No interruptions to the live stream on that site. Yeahhhhh!!!! lol Give it to Cote for taking those punches and kicks from Silva, not many can do that and still be able to stand up. (for 3 rounds) It's unfortunate it ended the way it did but I respect Cote for the fight that he had, plus always gotta give credit to Silva for being so respectful in the octagon. Man I can't wait till Nov. 15!!!
I'm surprised that Cote survived that kick and knee in round 1. He took some awesome shots, but was completely outclassed. I don't think he deserves a rematch when he is healthy, he is just not on Silva's level. Hopefully his knee heals properly.
no one is on Silva's level, not at any weight class. Cote was game though and absorbed a few big shots and landed a few of his own. What a shitty way to lose a fight for Cote, he'd taken Silva deeper than anyone else has been able to.
Did anyone else love it when Sherk took Griffin's back, and Griffin just stood up and walked across the cage to Randy Couture to ask what to do next. I thought that was pretty awesome. Griffin did well considering he was in with the former champ, just to much experience for Sherk to loose. He had the crisper punch's, cleaner wrestling and he didn't get gassed trying for KO flurries like Griffin went for. This shows that Sherk is in there for a title shot soon, I do believe, and Griffin is a future stud. His time isn't just yet, but he's going to be a major player here before soon.
I really wish i could remmeber, but thats happened before. He stood up and walked too the corner while his opponent sat on his back for a good 3 minutes. The guy standing up was just getting advice from his corner while his opponent was on there for a long time, it was hilarious, and smart.
I don't see Silva losing. He didn't really go after Cote seriously last night. He was dancing like Roy Jones, Jr. He had his hands low all night, switched stances, showboated, played to the crowd. He was fucking with Cote all night. I don't think Silva loses unless Hendo gets a rematch and sticks to his game plan.
