I was out in Glendale this past march. First trip to AZ. Nice place. My wife loved the March weather. I absolutely cannot wait until tomorrow night. I was telling someone on Friday that I just wanted to get the weekend over with, to get to Tuesday. He thought I was crazy.
Really? Which game is the W? Minnesota? I'm sure you don't want them to lose this season, but they will. We all need to realize this.

If your avatar has taught us anything, it's that sports don't necessarily bring out the best in us. Maybe invite her over for "When Harry Met Sally" or something tonight instead. Maybe "Love and Basketball," which is the only sports-related film my wife has ever enjoyed. Not sure? Imagine the look of utter rage on your face the first time Kobe charges into Oden and Greg gets blown for the foul. You really want to expose her to that face? I myself have a carefully concealed Blazers bald spot. I never would've risked my combover flying up on a first date.
I am so exited to get the season started I came on this thread knowing it would be this sad. I wish I could watch the opener. But I will have to be satisfied with the box score and knowing GO put Bynum in his place. Here is to The Blazers first win!!!

So I'm on a business trip out to southern Maryland. But at least the hotel has TNT. It'll be a long night, and an early morning. But i have my BlazerManiac T-shirt with me...so I'll be fine. When are we starting the game thread?
