I want to see the Patriots against some upper echelon competition.

Maybe Plax played hard and acted inline to get a contract extension?

Indy is next on the list. (I believe) lol

Man just imagine if we had Brady. :sigh: (another 16-0 season, possibly go all the way)

Hold on there for a sec.

Indy has to ravage the Titans first, then your humbling can come later. One day at a time folks.

There was no way you guys were even going to sniff 16-0 this year.

We're 5-2 without our best player, it's like the Lakers going on a winning streak during the season without Kobe. Brady is our Kobe. lol

But yeah, I had more confidence this year that they would not only go 16-0 but beat the Giants easily. The Giants aren't as great as some are making them be. Yeah they beat us in the last superbowl but it was because of the stupid game our team played, not because they're a "better" team.

Since the Jets' bye week, Favre has thrown 3 TD's and 7 INTs. He's got 15 TDs and 11 INTs on the year; but the Jets don't have a losing record. I find that incredible.

The Giants are the best team in the league. They're D is good, their D line is incredible, and their offense is suffice. I would take them over a healthy Patriots team, again.

The Patriots got cocky last year. I mean, c'mon...players copyrighting 19-0, so they could write books? Ridiculous. A healthy Patriots team this year would've probably been favored out of the AFC, but I would still say the Giants were the better team.

Dominant teams are built from the O-line and D-line. Last year we beat you because we dominated the line of scrimmage from both sides of the ball. Our O-line's only improved this year and, while our D-line has lost some key players, they haven't missed a step. So we could use the same formula from the Super Bowl.

But on top of that, our secondary's improved. Our offense has more weapons. And on the other side, your running game is non-existent and your corners are way shittier than last year. I think we could take you even with a healthy Brady.

The Pats are the least impressive 5-2 team in recent memory.

Exactly. When you can't shred the Chargers' defense, you aren't that impressive.

CK I like you but... have you seen the Giants this season? Their offense is unbelievable, and they're defensive line has come out of nowhere (after losing both starters at DE) to be one of the league's elite. The Giants are legit, have to be favorites to win another Super Bowl at this point.

I hate to say I told y'all so, but I totally did about Justin Tuck.

So many people are surprised by what our D-line's done without Strahan and Umenyiora, and to be fair it is amazing how little they've fallen off. But when you look at the way the Giants have approached the offseason for the past several years, you had to expect depth at those positions. Tuck was a 3rd rounder that had quietly been groomed for Strahan's position for the past 3 seasons. Kiwi was a 1st rounder that had an impressive rookie year before we moved him to LB. Our DT's are both well regarded around the league. These are players who were drafted high and expected to be good. On top of that, every year you can expect Reese to bring in another lineman or two despite how strong we are at the position. And that "throw shit against the wall and see what sticks" approach has worked wonders. We end up with some studs every now and then and a bunch of useful situational players (Jay Alford, Dave Tollefson, Renaldo Wynn, Jerome McDougle).

I admit I haven't seen a full game of the Giants so far. Just highlights from ESPN and other sport channels.

The thing that is most impressive is when stuff isn't clicking for the Giants, they don't panic. AT ALL! You saw what happened to Big Ben when things weren't going right. HE panic's, blames everyone else except himself. Every time he threw a pick, Big Ben was whining at a referee or a player. When stuff isn't going well, they take a deep breath and say " watch next drive" Great teams don;t blow everyone out, great teams, play hard all the time. And minus Plax, everyone on that team plays each down like its their last.

The Titans are moving the ball with rather ease so far, Huevon.
