I'm broke. I just went on a trip and also made some home renovations. I have no money but I am dying to buy several video games. I bought Dead Space and it was a good choice. Now I want to buy Fable 2, Fallout 3, FIFA 09, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 5, Prince of Persia, Mirror's Edge, and I still don't have the new Rock Band or Guitar Hero. That's like $600 worth of Xbox! I know Christmas is coming up but this is crazy. Next to nothing came out in the summer and now the game companies are dumping everything on us at once. I'm not even finished Dead Space and I've got three games to pick up this week and no money. Sheesh.
Just Prioritise your games. I haven't a clue how much your Income is but if its average get one of those games Every two weeks. My List >Fable II >Fallout 3 >Prince Of Persia >An NBA Game. 2K9 or Live 09
Yeah, I need to pace myself. I bought Force Unleashed recently, too (but I traded-in Soul Caliber so it wasn't full price). The CDN dollar is way low right now. I'll have to go South.
If you get any game for the rest of the year, get Fallout 3. I've been playing it most of the day, and I can confidently say it's game of the year. It's epic...amazing...basically any other positive adjective you can come up with will describe it. And it's ok, I'm right there with you. My list looks like: Endwar Fable 2 Prince of Persia Call of Duty 5 Gears of War 2 Rock Band 2 Guitar Hero: World Tour Left 4 Dead Dead Space Silent Hill: Homecoming And these are just the games I can think of. Ugh...oh well. I have Fallout 3, so me = happy.

Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts and Gears of War 2 are all that are on my list this year. NBA 2k9 will keep me busy for awhile.

Lol best time to release games. All the Game fans will get them as soon as they come out and just enough time for it to come down in Price a little for Xmas. Didn't realise how cheap Games were in America $60 apparently. New games RRP here at £50 ($95) though most sell at £40 ($76)
So for what it's worth....to those who were looking in to Fable 2....a couple things. The main quest is short...beatable in about 6hrs if you ignore sidequests...even with them, it's about 20-30hrs...which, by RPG standards....is kinda short. Also, I've heard that it's just not that good from one of my friends. He did mention that the ending sucked too, so I just thought I'd put this out there for you guys who were interested in it. My recommendation - rent it first.
