I'm right here. I think Mamba is at his TV. Shape is working I believe, unless he lied to me. Huevon is in Florida.

    Rudy just hit a 3.

Greg Oden is back in the game.

Aldridge just lost the ball off his own foot.

Oden got the board....out of bounds....

Sasha has missed all three of his shots.

Pau with the block, Sasha with the three, and Jordan with the assist.

    Shot clock violation...

    Kobe is back in.

    We're up 33-17

My lord, where do I begin. Only Portland score was a Blake three...

Vlad hit a three, Kobe hit two jumpers.....we went on a 10-0 run.

Kobe needs to know when to take shots and when to calm down. He cost us a big portion of the lead right there because he kept on jacking. Lay off and run the offense.

Bynum and Oden look out of synch so far.

The Bynum-Oden matchup has been a disappointment so far.

definitely, and it sucks. I want Oden to do good for sure, then Bynum is on one of my fantasy teams and he is sucking a fat cock

The Lakers have been sharp and focused the entire game. Their intensity on the defensive end has been the difference and Portland hasn't figured out how to find the soft spots in the Laker zone. Portland is trying to break the defense with one on one isolation and it's forcing the ball handler into double teams with the weakside help jumping the passing lanes to get the steal or deflection. Portland will need to move the ball around more to find the open man.

I also don't think Portland was ready for the speed lineups PJax has gone with tonight. He's made a point to have Aldridge and Oden chasing our bigs and neither can out run Gasol or Odom down the court. Gasol has at least 3 layups by out sprinting Oden down the court.

Trevor Ariza is an exceptional basketball player. He understands the angles and you never see him over commit on the defensive end where he loses site of the guy he's guarding. He's also moving very well on the offensive end finding his comfort zones from the baseline 3 point shot. He did look awkward trying to go one on one against Roy, which resulted in an off balance spin jumper, but he's been terrific for us off the bench.

You can tell the timing is a little off with Bynum. The Lakers have missed him on a few lobs by not getting the ball high enough. I think they forget how high he can get up with his arm span. They need to get those passes above the rim where he can go up, gather himself, and then throw it down.

Hopefully we keep this intensity up in the 2nd half and don't get bored with this game. Portland is capable of going on quick 10-0 runs. Lakers were terrible last season at closing out games and we were very shakey in the 3rd quarters. Championship teams put teams away when they have this type of lead going into halftime.

On Portland's end I've been impressed with Rudy Fernandez. I love his game and he's not intimitaded or nervous at all out there. He's been a lot more impressive than Oden up to this point.

    Let's go Lakers.

Also don't forget that Portland is used to coming from behind to win games, we need to chop their heads off in the 2nd half. Cannot let up.
