5 minutes into his first game after missing an entire season and already getting X-Rays. I fought and argued against it, but I have to admit now that Oden is injury-prone. Let's just hope he isn't brittle.
Just be happy it isn't his knee. Although a foot injury could sideline him for the season. We can only hope for the best.
I hate to flip out but it is hard not too. Oden might be injured again with only playing the first half of one regular season game. I'm still hoping it just is a minor foot injury and will play in the next game. I really didn't think Oden was really injury prone and will have a long career but I'm really getting worried now.
Come on. Injured for most of the year at Ohio State, misses all of last season, sprains an ankle in the pre-season, then gets X-rays on foot (we think) at halftime of his first NBA game. He's injury-prone. I've never once posted that about him before, but there is really no reason to deny it anymore.
Why is Oden still in the locker room? Man, just think if he broke his foot. I imagine he'd be an emotional wreck at this moment.
He wouldn't be the only one. I think the suicide rate in Portland would jump through the roof immediately.
The longer we go with no word about Oden, the more reason to be very worried about this injury. If the X-ray was negative, wouldn't the Blazers rush to get that info out to everyone?
