I thought maybe we could use a thread to track how our good ol' friends are doing on their new teams. Richard Jefferson's line today: 5-17 FG, 3-4 FT, 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers Rough night for the old Net.
Let's not forget Malik Allen! 10 points on 5-7 shooting, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block in 20 minutes!
I didn't watch the game either but from the boxscore it seems not very well if he was infact guarding Deng. Deng had 21 points on 8-13 shooting.
RJ trying to be "the man" in Milwaukee taking 17 shots, LOL. Exact same scheme with the nets last season.
Yeah he kept driving hard to the basket and getting offensive fouls... I hated that so much when he was with the Nets
Is Milwaukee one of the teams that the "experts" believe are better than the Nets? Their top three guys off the bench (in terms of minutes) were Mbah a Moute, Malik Allen, and Charlie Bell. Their starting PF played nine minutes, and shot 43% last year. Their starting PG shot 40% last year, and averaged 6 points and 4 assists. Maybe they'll be better than the Nets. But I just don't see how the Nets won't be competitive. We can take a similar look at teams like the Bulls, the Heat--even the Wizards, who we'll see tonight.
second, you mean. BTW, did anyone else see that the starting PG for Golden State is an undrafted rookie?
mavs play rockets tomorrow... best defensive team in the west and my favorite team so hopefully yeah triple zero plz!
RJ looked good last night... i think we can expect similar number to what he put up here... i dont see him turning into a star or raising his level much....especially with redd taking alot of shots
NBA League Pass has a free preview opening week. Marcus looked a little chubby to me, same old same old.
