    This is a game where Najera could have been a big factor. Jamison is a good match-up for him. Going to be tough for Yi because defends better against bigs that like to work down near the box.

    Time killer. Of the 12 on the active roster (Hassell, Najera, and Swift are inactive), who sees no floor time tonight, and what are the minutes for those that do play?

    My guesses:

    DNP-CD:

    Ager
    Williams

    Minutes:

    Carter: 39
    Harris: 36
    Dooling: 15
    Boone: 28
    Lopez: 20
    Yi: 25
    Anderson: 18
    Simmons: 33
    CDR: 9
    Hayes: 17

    I'm predicting Yi foul trouble that will produce a small lineup for a few minutes of the game with Simmons at the 4 and either Hayes or Dooling comprising the 3 smalls with Devin & Vince.

    Vince will lead the Nets to a victory, he's a man on a mission. Hopefully the rookies aren't too nervous and just go out there and play. Last year Antonie Wright had an incredible game opening night, who will have one tonight for the Nets, that is the question.

    nba broadband online is having free preview until november 11th. u can just watch the game from their archive. Very high quality if you have just a cable or dsl connection.

    Man, that sucks.

    Williams had a 14/10/5 block game in 33 minutes agains the Wiz last year. I don't know where his minutes come from, either.
