Wow really? small world eh?

So I looked at your profile and saw you're only 18. Are you in school here, Navy, living with parents? What's the scoop? You mentioned missing living up north? Where are you from originally?

LOL. Small world indeed. Born and raised in Milton, with significant forays to other parts of the country at other times. I'm now a bit of a Jersey freak, what with my Sopranos obsession and after Carter was traded to the Nets.

My sister graduated from UWF in accounting. What are you studying?

I want to do 2 years here to get my basic classes out of the way and then hopefully go to NYU to study medicine :D
Or at least that's the plan as of now.. lol

I guess you could say that, but I just miss living up north, it's different.. i can't describe it.. :devilwink:

Oh yeah! Very different.

My three years in Boston (at Berklee College of Music) took a major cultural/lifestyle adjustment. I enjoyed it overall, and would love to visit again someday, but it's amazing how maturity has a way of stamping out a small-towner's lust for the big city life . . . or need to leave home just for the sake of leaving home. I'm very comfortable here now.

I only wish it were COLDER most of the year. It's nice to actually have 4 seasons instead of 2.5.

how did you go from Berklee to law school?!

how did you go from Berklee to law school?!

Father was an attorney and, for 14 years, a circuit judge. After playing a year in a rock band following Berklee, I decided to go back to school until I could grow up and decide what I wanted to do with my life. Law school made my dad happy and delayed the confrontation of "real life" for 3 more years. A nice education in many ways that I don't regret, even though I abhorred the 4 months I spent in the actual practice of law and was never truly cut out (spiritually speaking) for the profession.

hm, interesting. They say that law school prepares you for all sorts of things in life.

Yea, true say. I walk outside, it's snowing like -6 or whatever, and I just thought to myself "Dear God...it's only October..." Reminded me of the Day After Tomorrow.

and this is part of the reason i will be moving to florida in a few months :ghoti:
I'm looking at a couple of colleges in Florida, with the goal of transferring out of here at school year's end.

How many of us live in Florida? I was under the impression that Dumpy and I were the only ones.

57 degrees is actually pretty warm... I'd welcome 57 any day around this time.

It's around 40 now in New York.

My computer is telling me it's 41 right now. This was Rutgers yesterday:

Shit I'm late to this thread

1) 66 degrees for a pool is FRIGID
2) It's currently 90 out and it hasn't rained in a couple of months

3)
Claud, are you in Pensacola? Seriously? I'm in Milton, 25 miles away.
