After Greg Oden got hurt again, do you feel he is officially ready to be coined "injury-prone?"

I'm thinking he won't be fully healthy for his career. So I think that is a yes.

I hope not. I really like his potential. Hopefully it is just a minor sprain and he's ready to play the next game.

I hope not, but I think the label fits up this point in his career. When's the last time he's been completely healthy? High school?

He's citing college, last year, and preseason as well.

come on. the answer at this point is no. no one even knows what his injury is. he could still play in their next game.

Sounds like a foot sprain, and sounds like (per Sportscenter) that Oden might be out for a bit of time. He left the arena in a boot last night, so it's not good, that's for sure.

But, at this point, it sure fits his career. Hand injury in college, knee issue last year and now his foot this year.

I do certainly hope it's nothing serious though.

No? Do you know another Greg Oden that we don't?

He hasn't been healthy since HS. Hand issues in college, micro-fracture last year, ankle problems in training camp/preseason, and now a foot issue.

He doesn't play at all last season. And in the opening minutes of his first NBA game, he hurts his foot on a routine play.

    The evidence is overwhelming -- he's injury-prone.

For sure. To be honest I was severely disappointed in the time that he did play, although it was rather short. Other than dunking, what can he do offensively? His jump hooks were awful.

I think maybe we should wait and see the results of his MRI before we declare him injury prone.

It doesn't matter. He needs an MRI after his very first game, after missing his entire first season, and half of his freshman year in college. You think that's just a coincidence?

I'm a big blazer fan and went to one preseason game and watched the others streaming online. Towards the end of the preseason his jumphooks and other short shots began to look better. He said he was nervous for the team vs team scrimmage a few weeks ago that was at the Rose Garden. Imagine how he felt last night. Pending a healthy Oden, expect him to look better in the coming weeks. Also, he is outta shape so his shots are more often than not going to be short. If his foot is not that bad, expect the real greg oden to begin to emerge post all star break.

he injured his wrist before college. then he had the micro fracture before last season. and now if the first came this year he left at halftime with a completely unrelated injury that we don't know the severity of yet.

it sounds a little too early to call someone injury prone to me. at this point is just seems like bad luck.

Im sorry but I have thought of him as injury prone for a while. I really didnt say it too much because I didnt want to piss you guys off but that is my honest opinion. Scouts and GM's had said this off the record coming into the draft. This most recent injury isnt the end all be all but it is one more building block in painting him as injury prone....which I believe he is.
