lol, just as long as Yi can keep this up for 81 (or more games ;)) it'd be a quote for truth.

i give it to Yi. Didn't know really what to expect from him. VC played his usual solid game with very nice stats. When VC shoots 50% the nets usually do well. VC got his usual numbers while Yi comming up big with very good shooting.

How about the california boys who are looking like they belong in the nba. Right now i think lopez should start, but keep an eye on Ryan. He will be big this year.

I gave it to Yi on a whim, but I really want to give due to Jarvis "Purple" Hayes

I gave it to Hayes, he came off the bench and sparked a nice run that eventually gave the Nets the lead and the win. I did not expect him to have such a performance.

i just finished watchin the game... (dvr) and i voted for carter.... he deserved it so much... but Yi and hayes were great...

hayes not only made big shots but his defense was surprisingly good... also simmons D on caron... was solid...

only 1 thing i have to complain about.... is our REBOUNDING.... washington had way too many offensive rebounds... esp in the 1st half

I'd split it between Brook and Hayes, and if forced to chose, I'd give it to Brook. Whereas someone could have filled Hayes' role last night, Brook's presence was a game-changer and no one else could have done it.

Vince an Yi both played great.... but hayes was huge the last 3 minutes. strokes 2 or 3 jumpers to keep the lead at 4 or 6 points and prevent washington from stealing the game.... although vince did provide the dagger...

Hayes, Carter, Yi played great. But In the end I had to go with Lopez for being huge.

    Right on.

Vince played a good game, Yi played a great game.

But Hayes was the one that provided the turbo boost to get the Nets a margin.

Vince performed up to his contract, no more, no less. Yi maybe a bit more than his contract.

Howerver, Hayes performed BETTER than his contract...
