    Agreed. I like the deal and I'm sure Bynum is stoked. A 21-year old making $14M per, nice birthday present. Bynum needs to live up to this contract now.

    That's a great deal for both sides.

    $42 over 3 is not a cap breaker and it's a hefty pay raise for Bynum.

    Alright, didn't see this thread, only the one that was speculation about this.

    Glad to hear it got done, and the fact that it's a team option is great, definitely counteracts the fact that the price tag was a bit steep.

    At least he can now focus on just basketball, and won't have to worry about his future with the team anymore.

    14 million per year is definitely A LOT better than 18 million we were hearing about...

    Thank god. Maybe it is a tad bit overpaying, but who gives a fuck. Look at the potential this guy has and the type of player he could end up being 4 years down the road. Mitch is a fucking genius.

    I'm especially LOVING the team option for year 4, so just in case something goes wrong, we will be able to void his contract, and maybe resign him for less money. Glad to see Mitch finally learning from his mistakes!
