S2 MMA Pick'em League - Grand Prix Sign ups

    okay, so we've finished the 2nd season of our MMA pick'em league.

    Now for something a little different, a Grand Prix.

    In the grand prix competitors will be facing each other and the highest score on the night wins and advances to the next round.

    The match ups will be based on the standings from season 2 and if any newcomers are interested in joining the Grand Prix, they will be ranked low and facing the top ranked fighters from season 2.

    but of course Newcomers are always welcome to join in and take a shot at making predictions

    Since we are matching up against one another, we need ppl to sign up and commit to being in this event, because a no show will ruin the experience.

    This is the sign up thread. If you're in please just post in here with "I'm in"

    The first round of the grand prix will be WEC 36 held on Nov 5th.
    Since we will be facing each other, you will not need to post your picks in a thread, rather you will PM me your picks.

    Picks are due no later than 11:59 EST on NOVEMBER 4th!

    Whomever is facing me will PM their picks to Speeds as will I. Speeds can then post the picks he receives in the match up thread once it's created on fight day.

    A: if the score it tied, I'll got by W/L record. If both score 66 pts, but one guy went 7-3 and the other 6-4, the 7-3 guy moves on.
    In the event both are the same.. well I'll cook something up ;)

    B: depends on who signs up this week. :D

    probably not, there should be several rounds of the Grand Prix to go through first.

    I got what you call I job.. Work ring any bells to you. I'd rather use my free time to spend with my wife and at the gym than picking UFC fights. Thats just me... Have fun dude!:drumroll: The last three fights I just choose without any real research. Haven't done a very good job at it.. So whats the use playing if I can't really make time to play!!! PLUS! Shape needs to be owned in my fantasy basketball league. Thats where its AT!!! haha:ghoti:
