Is there any way the fans can send in jersey designs, or make requests for Alternates ? After all, the NBA is a business....and we are the customers, and in theory, "the customer is always right", and to be honest, I'm not too high on our current jerseys....it's an upgrade from the pinstripes...but for some reason, our jersey font reminds me of the TV Show, Buffy The Vampire Slayer.... I heard there were rumors that we'd have BLACK alternates!!! <--- Please tell me this is TRUE
I'm sure you could make suggestions and probably send them to someone connected to the team, but who knows how much of an effect that would have. Although, i'm sure adding an alternate jersey would make a good amount of money with all the Yao and T-mac jersey sales.
We do have black jerseys. But they're used for practice. I don't know why, but ever since we switched from the pajama-jerseys these red ones remind me of the cover of those Big Red chewing gum packs. And whenever I hear our slogan "Get Red", I'm reminded of the Big Red commercial jingle.
My friend has an alternate all black jersey. Like it's full black on black, including the jersey number. I think we should use them! They look so badass.
I've heard this was brought up by the Rox years ago, but the league denied it because too many other teams already use black color schemes. I don't know what the harm in it is... it's way better than what OKC and Charlotte have. I think Stern should retire and disappear
I know, right? I mean, if a black alternate appeals to more customers, wouldn't that lead to more potential jersey sales? And wouldn't more potential jersey sales lead to more profits for Stern? I don't understand what Stern's problem is....kinda off topic, but I hope Stern fines Josh Howard for the intentional trip, this aint the first time Howard deliberately fouled Yao....word is, Nowitzki also elbowed Yao after the foul.
