    Don't you have a different DVD region in the UK? I learned that one the hard way by bringing over my DVDs when I moved to Scandinavia. Man, that sucked.

    Yeah, it's to stop people getting lower prices in different regions. I brought my US Xbox to England, and I wasted 60 bucks on a game that didn't work. I was pissed.
