Might not be my first choice but he's a guy that would fit nicely into our system. 19 ppg 47% shooter 43% 3pt 83% ft 5rbds 3.5 asst. My biggest concern is his hefty contract. Here's what Bird said about him last week.

"I don't know how long he's going to be out, but obviously he's going to be out for at least another week," Pacers president Larry Bird said. "It's not great when you have your best all-around player sitting out. He does so much for us. When he's in the game, you'll see our offense moving better. He means so much to us. We want to get him healthy."

I've wanted Mike here for a few years, being a J-high alumni! Contract is a concern though, but he can shoot the rock.

Not particularly interested in him, though for the right price he would be ok.

Dunleavy's defense is pretty poor. He's a pretty good player on offense though, so if Indy were to basically give him away he'd certainly help the team. However, I doubt they give him up without a good return, and I'd rather use those chips to get someone who fits better.

They're looking to burn cap space. Perfect op for Raef. Dunleavy would be a good guy in the playoffs. He's a high IQ player (coach's son, duke) who can score but doesn't need to. Might be a little too much like Roy though.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
As a salary dump, I'd be happy to get Dunleavy Jr. I thought he was rather crap as a Warrior, but he's blossomed decently in Indiana. He'd be a great fit on offense...great outside shot and can pass the ball. With the passing of Roy and Dunleavy Jr. at the 2/3 spots, that would basically end the need for a "pure point guard." We'd have enough team passing and decision-making.

His defense is a real concern, but one poor defender can be covered for.

I'm not sure I'd give up cap space (LaFrentz) and real value for Dunleavy Jr. Maybe, but only if I felt that no other realistic options were going to emerge.
