We are playing Denver without Marcus Camby and, I believe, Carmelo back in the lineup. Therefore, we are basically facing an all-offense team with no defense whatsoever. So as long as we play composed and within our system, scoring on them should be easy. Nene and K-Mart are not gonna stop Lamar, Andrew, and Pau. Kobe will have a field day on JR and whoever has to guard him. Defense, is where we need to set the tone. We have to have a hand up on every shot, and we HAVE to limit them to only one shot per possession.

    Discuss.

Denver is a pointless team imo, should be an easy victory for us.

Should be a pretty easy victory for us. We went 7-0 against them last year, including playoffs, and they've digressed this year while we've gotten better. I see no reason why we can't blow them out.

    SHOULD be an easy victory

Let's hope the team doesn't get too ahead of themselves after these last two games. We're still beatable if we play down to their level.

I'd love to update this game but these exams are taking over my life, lol. I only have a few days off a week but I'll follow as much as I can.

Sucks for you huevon. Focus on your studies, they're more important than regular season games anyways ;)

As for the game, very sloppy so far. We're down by 6, but the officiating has been absolutely terrible. On both sides. The refs are blowing their whistle every time we touch a Nugget. On the other hand, the refs seem blind as to where the out of bounds line is, and who touched the ball last. We've been given many second opportunities because of that.

So far, the officiating has been terrible for both teams, so it is not an excuse. We're playing really sloppy right now, so hopefully guys will step up and clean up the mess next half. Also, play some tighter defense. Anthony Carter is today's new Laker killer :]

Btw, Gasol absolutely MURDERED the Birdman on one dunk.

Gasol is keeping us in the game. He has played very well so far.

Looking at the box score, we are shooting terrible - 26% on threes, 35% on FG's.

    Yup

Very bad offensive game for us, yet we are now up by 4 with around 3 minutes left of the fourth.

Kobe with an offensive rebound and layup, but fouls Iverson on the other end.

I hope we can hold on...

Very exciting (but sloppy) game so far.

    AI misses both

    Fisher hits a three

    Kleiza misses a three

    Kobe lays it in

Up by 9. Just like that. So easy...

Glad we finally woke up with less than 2 minutes left on the game. This team is awesome. lol

Okay so Carmelo made things a bit interesting at the end, hitting back to back threes, but it doesn't matter. We still win at the end.

Kobe showing his clutchness, showing up when we needed him the most.

Very impressive game. Our starters were in foul trouble for the majority of the game, horrible officiating (on both sides), a scrub was killing us, we were on the road, and our shots were not falling, yet we still managed to win the game. This shows me that this team has what it takes to win. Normally, that would be a combination for disaster.

Btw, Kobe had 33 points in 33 minutes of play (most minutes played so far this season). Also, next game isn't until Wednesday against the Clippers :(

He got in foul trouble early, like pretty much all our starters, and for whatever reason didn't get into the game that much. I didn't like how little he touched the ball when he was in. Our players need to do a better job of giving him the ball in the post...
