What an incredible game by B-Roy. 26 pts/5 reb/7 assists/3 steals, and he shamed Bruce Bowen to the bench.

I'm glad he got that monkey off of his back; Bowen had pretty much owned his ass his first two years in the league. I think his added strength is allowing him to deal with the physicality of guys like Bowen who body up and get in your grill.

He needs a few more of those to erase the stink from his first game.

Roy played great tonight - like an all star.
But, he can't take nights off like he did against the Lakers.
I can't ever remember Clyde doing that.

    Keep it up Brandon!!

Give the guy a break, the first game was an absolute mess. He just sucked with the rest of them. Sometimes you gotta get things going before they get better. Tonight was a good example. Brandon got his game back and it only took one false start.

Let's see what happens in the next few games.

So many clutch shots and assists. Good job by Roy and LA establishing themselves as the leaders of this team.

Roy was awesome, that shake and bake move he did on I think Roger Mason was pretty sickening in the second half. Just sick...

Blech. He missed 6 point blank layups, that's not "taking a night off" that's just plain ol' sucking balls.

Not sure if I'm alone on this, but my only one gripe with Roy is I don't fully feel confident when he steps to the free throw line. He's not a bad shooter, it just always sticks in my mind when he misses. Maybe I just expect him to be the greatest FT shooter of all time.

Was very impressed w/ Roy. He seems to have changed his game a bit over the off-season. I know that Nate told him to try and score more over the off-season.

Man, i'm excited for this year...

Gonna be a great Saturday... College football... includes my Ducks going at Cal... and then Blazer tonight!!! NICE! 2 other AWESOMe games in CFB w/ Florida/Georgia and Texas/Texas Tech.

Brandon has looke pretty "average" from the line the last two years ... maybe it's just adrenaline? Monty will fix him

Sorry, but he had no energy. He was defeated mentally the whole game. He wasn't the leader the team needed him to be. You could see it clearly in his demeanor.

Brandon played with so much more emotion than last year. He has really elevated his role as leader, firing up his teammates, finishing that breakaway w/an emphatic dunk-- even though it didn't count. I don't remember seeing that too much last year. One of my favorite moments was AFTER Nic took on Parker and then Brandon nailed that 3 at the end of the 2nd. Jerryd ran down the court to Brandon, but Brandon focused on bumping chests w/Nic who started that whole sequence w/tough D. Then high-fived Jerryd. Total emotion. Totally self-less, team oriented. We need to see that intensity every game.

During his first year in the league I always was a little shaky with some of the shots he would take. Now, I have so much confidence in his abilities that I now think his shots are always going to go in.

I truly believe that he's on the cusp of superstardom.

I've always had an affinity for players that could fill up a stat sheet (easiest for a swingman, but Tim
Hardaway did it as PG and David Robinson did it at center).

    Brandon Roy has definitely arrived.

We'll know the team has arrived when he gets 5 reb/7 assists/3 steals but only has to score 18 and
    the team wins by 12.
