Excuse me for cheesing out for a second, but I woke up this morning really proud to be a Blazer fan.

Admittedly I went to lastnights game in a bit of a funk after the Lakers loss. I talked about that with everyone in my section 225 and they all agreed. Seems as if Blazer nation was still in a collective funk. I was curious to see how the crowd would react for game time, and it took no time at all to see just how great of fans this city has.

I've been a season ticket holder since Brandon and LA's first year, and their's been some loud games, but never as loud as lastnight. And it didn't just happen in waves, there was a constamt roar all night long. In fact, in the 4th when they played the George Foreman "let's grill 'em" video, I couldn't hear any sound from the speakers, even though I'm sure they were working.

I've been a fan since the early 80's and watched many a standing room only game at the old MC, and the noise last night equalled any of those games.

Anyways, I know it's sounds a little cheesy and sentimental, but I really was proud to call my self a Blazer fan last night.

....And I should add, great job by the organization putting on a great show lastnight. EWF singing superstar as the players were introduced was a great touch!

Can anyone who watched the ESPN broadcast tell us if the announcers mentioned how loud the arena was?
Also, great touch projecting highlights on the side of the Rose Garden, they should actually broadcast the games out there.
Secondly, I loved having the ESPN RV there...the activities were awesome

I must have missed the ESPN crew mention the crowd. I didn't hear it. There's nothing like the Rose Garden when the crowd is hyped. Wish I could've been there!!! Thanks for sharing.

The announcers mentioned the crowd chanting Rudy and he joked are we in Notre Dame and also they said There's no where else they'd rather be on Holloween than in Portland

Crowd was fantastic last night. Never seen or heard it like that before. I was high-fiveing more strangers than ever. The crowd's roar was ear-bleeding ... and that's great thing. I love my section 222!
