since they want to compare him to dirk... How many games till yi drives to the basket off a pump fake or dribble? and sucessfully makes the basket? i say 10 more games. fast breaks dont count.
The problem is Yi doesn't have the handles that Dirk has. It's an area of his game amongst many that he needs dramatic improvement on. I would like to see the Nets give him an opportunity or two in the right low block. His has a nice spin move that he has been able to score off. He has to find other ways to get involve in the offense instead of just sitting out at the 3 point line.
Yi's got all the moves and all the shots, but he doesn't have the bulk and strength inside to get by NBA big men. Maybe in a couple of years.
