http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/081031/entertainment/tv_king_of_the_hill I thought they stopped making new episodes years ago.
I used to hate King of the Hill. Thought it was boring and stupid, and the main characters annoyed the living hell out of me. But after watching a couple of episodes, it's not too bad. I still watch it here and there when they show it on FX. Pretty good show actually, although I agree it doesn't stack up to Simpsons/South Park. I like it more than Family Guy though, never liked Family Guy for some reason, it's stupid comedy...
I've been a fan for a while now...didn't realize it had been on for as long as it has. It doesn't have the over the top moments of a lot of the other cartoon shows of this time, but I always thought it managed to be pretty funny.
Hopefully Dale finds out about John Redcorn in one of the final episodes. Also, Hank getting fired from Strickland propane would be funny.
Thank God. Perhaps one of the most boring shows I have ever watched. "Billy, get your penis out of the vacuum cleaner."
You guys just aren't sophisticated enough to appreciate King of the Hill's humor. It's not about being over the top, crude, slapstick, etc. It is just well scripted humor.
This sucks...I loved this show. Although it was alot better in the first few seasons, it was still funny to watch.
Is canceled really the right word? It's been picked up for another season, but Fox just isn't going to be picking up anymore after that. Anyway, I always liked King Of Hill and will miss it, mainly because it was so different from the over the top humor other animated comedies have. Any word on if it will be replaced with the Cleveland spin off?
Semantics! I just took the headline from Yahoo. I have the same opinion of the show as most: I will watch it if there is nothing better on, and sometimes it is amusing, but I've never gone out of my way to see it, and I haven't kept up with it at all. It feels like its been in syndication forever.
They already cancelled King of the Hill once before, but picked it up again because of good ratings. The Cleveland Show seems like an idiotic idea. King of the Hill would be much better. No reason they can't move it to a weeknight, given that all of their weeknight shows except House (is that even still on?) are downright awful.
