Lakers should go 79-3 according to their pythagorean.

The Lakers are loaded and more importantly have great chemistry even in the 2nd unit.

I dont think they break the Bulls' record, but im not sure that record is broken for a long time.

Best starting 5 in the league? I don't know about that. I would probably take Houston over LA once Tmac is healthy. The point guard spot is such a weak link for the Lakers, imo. In fact I'm surprised that Baron Davis didn't play better against them last week.

Yeah, the Rockets have a very good starting 5, but I will take Derek Fisher or Jordan Farmar over Rafer Alston every time.

I think the Lakers' PG situation couldnt be any better to be honest. Fisher does exactly what the Lakers need; hits shots from the outside, can finish at the rim and defends. All the talk about the Lakers needing Jason Kidd last year was way overhyped. You dont need a true PG in the triangle, especially with Kobe on the team.

    Yeah Derek isn't a problem.

If anything, Radmanovic is our weak spot, but he's been doing great so far, so who knows...

Rockets and Celtics have dangerous starting lineups as well

I want Lakers and Raptors to play, THAT is a measuring stick for ya. Obviously Celtics too. But LA will play ATLEAST late into May.

they wont break the 72-10 record but they will be extremely good, specially w/ their frontcourt. pau, bynum, and odom are all all star caliber players, all can get 10rbs, their big, and good at defense.

and then you add kobe, a superstar, to these 3 all stars.

farmar can have a breakout season too. theyre stacked, but the west is tough, a lotta teams are stacked
