The mountain man is a Thunder! http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/55249/20081104/thunder_sign_steven_hill/ I hope S-Bo will prove his selection of Hill to be the right move...
There's no doubt in my mind that Randolph is a better player than Hill.. Hill was just a big body for Oden and Joel to abuse in practice if we kept him.
Congrats to Hill, though the article doesn't say it's a guaranteed contract, which I'd like to see the big fella get.
Wow. He averaged a whopping 4.2 points and 2.9 rebounds his senior year in college. He was a fun novelty to have around, in the Jason Jennings sort of way, but I think that Shavalahalalalik has a small, small chance of developing into a productive player at some point.
He'll be like the fourth or fifth-string center. I doubt that the fans of OKC see much, if any, of him. Petro, Sene, Swift, and maybe Wilcox (since he can play the 5, also) are ahead of him on the depth chart. Has anyone seen Swift lately, by the way? Not on the court (because he doesn't play). Just generally: Awesome. Ed O.
