That means McCain won, since the most Democratic county already is all reported....which isn't surprising.

Also, a Republican strategist said that Kay Hagan is going to beat Elizabeth Dole in North Carolina's senate race, and called it an "Obama Tsunami".

Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia polls closed.

John McCain is the projected winner in Kentucky.

Barack Obama is the projected winner in Vermont.

Indiana - TOO CLOSE TO CALL

Georgia - TOO EARLY TO CALL

Virginia - TOO EARLY TO CALL (Obama's leading, so looks bad for McCain that it's not too close)

South Carolina - TOO EARLY TO CALL

    McCain 8 to Obama 3

If this is true, it would be HUGE. It's hard to imagine any scenario for McCain getting to 270 EV without winning Indiana's 11.

Obama had double digit leads in Virginia, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico in the early exit polls. That's really bad news for McCain.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Obama looks great in Indiana so far. He's running well ahead of where Kerry did in Republican counties. He's trailing slightly, but the biggest Democratic area of the state has yet to report, Lake County.

David Gregory says that Obama is leading in Ohio. That along with a too early to call status means that Barack Obama will be the 44th president of the United States.

Mitch McConnell in a race too close to call. That's a Senate seat that looked unlikely to go to the Democrats. If they win that race, that would be big.
