I love how he wants to sanction four of his team's better players in order to improve the team's play. What a fucking retard.
It's so fun to watch what random crap Al Davis will do next. I'm just thankful he has nothing to do with a team that I follow.
Still in some shock. Why would you sign players to big contracts then release them? This guy is way worse than Isiah Thomas.
I give up. I hate football now. Next, Nnamdi is going to demand a trade, McFadden will never be healthy, and JaMarcus will continue to suck.
ROFL I knew these two guys were overrated to begin with. The signings were moronic to begin with, but I never knew Davis was crazy enough to out right release them before they finish one single season. ROFL
DeAngelo is from Georgia, so I could see him going back to Falcons but he'd want to sign with the best contender for the rest of this year.
Wow.. Thank you Davis, for bringing comedy to my life. As long as he is in charge of the Raiders I will never have to worry about the Chargers being the cellar dwellar of the AFC West.
These guys are fucking HORRIBLE. Have any of you guys watched the Raiders this year? Its pathetic, but its a smart move by Al. I know Javon's contract was specifically structured so that we could dump his ass easily if/when he proved to be a total POS. Thats not big deal at all. As for Hall. I don't think his contract was structured that way but DAMN hes really bad. Cutting him means we get to keep Nnamdi this offseason and Hall really isn't any better than Routt or any other average CB. Hall basically gets raped constantly because he can't press or play man very well and hes dumb as shit and pretty much gets burned 50% of the time. I'll take the cap hit and gladly show him the door. As usual we look like fuggin idiots but this time I actually agree with the moves. Why continue to waste money on shitty players? Cut your losses and give that money to O-Lineman, legit receivers, etc.
I bet it doesn't help that your defense is on the field so much though; and people are skeptical after seeing someone like Moss rot over there (nothing against your franchise, I'm just talking about your GM moves). Does it really help your cap situation to cut him now instead of the end of the season? It looks cheap and petty, and soils your reputation with other possible free agents (be this the correct sentiment or not).
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3686869 According to that, the Patriots, Steelers, and Redskins are interested in Hall.
If the Steelers got him, OMG. Him opposite Ike will be killer. The reason we can take him on is because Deshea is a good nickel CB and our original starter (McFadden) is hurt. GET HIM!
