    Salvador, Oduya and Weekes.

Has there ever been a back line of black guys playing regularly in the NHL?

And if there are any more injuries, Mark Fraser would be the first callup from Lowell.

Just heard this, I am soooo pissed right now...Brodeur was set for an amazing season this year with his records and hopefully a successful postseason. Our playoff hopes may be in danger right now.

It's too bad the Devils don't have a good backup. Hard to blame them considering how Brodeur never takes a game off. It hurts the playoff chances a lot, but I think there is enough talent to keep them in position to at least be in contention for a playoff spot. The offense just needs to step it up.
    But this sucks a lot.

I think Weekes is a worthy backup in the NHL, but the Devils are a defensive team so Brodeur is a tremendous loss.

Between this and what is happening in Colorado, Vessa should be able to bring in a first rounder no problem.

    Yes, yes it is.

    1. The Devils always make the playoffs.

    2. Brodeur is usually worn out when they do.

I'm hardly freaking out. The guy is 35 and plays 75 games a year and he's never been hurt for more than a few games.

My bigger worry is that Brent Sutter is incredibly overrated. His act is wearing thin with me.

And he will still shatter Sawchuck's record and has a very good chance at 700 wins.
