but I love bacon cheddar fries. what weird food nuances do you have? oh yeah, inspired by this: http://www.baconnaise.com/
I don't like my food touching on my plate, but will scoop up some potatoes and a piece of meat to eat together. Or rice and meat or whatever. I hate salt on everything except popcorn, corn on the cob and french fries. I always save my favorite food from a meal for last. My girlfriend doesn't have to ask what my favorite part of her cooking is, she just watches my plate. I fucking hate hamburgers that don't have the hamburger as the first thing on the bun, not counting ketchup and mayo. If you stack lettuce and tomato and pickle and such on your bun before the meat you are fucking crazy.
you have much better control. some people tend to over-do it with the soy sauce. I think i read it in some sushi blog that its a good way to do it.
I don't eat fast food, which I guess makes me pretty abnormal. I cook everything from scratch - bread, salad dressing, soup, you name it. I will eat almost anything in reason except raisins (remind me of rat shit), mayonnaise (melted slugs, anyone?) or cream/sourcream, etc. on any main or side course. Cream on a dessert is fine, but a cream sauce or soup makes me gag. Relic of kosher upbringing, I guess. I love chocolate. Now that the election is over, time to plan Thanksgiving dinner.
I like brown/spicy mustard on most things that would normally take ketchup. I eat just about everything except brussel sprouts, whatever pig intestine creation the French people tried to feed me, and bananas (though I know they're awesome).
I got my Bacon Salt today. Three 4-pack samplers. One for me and two gifts for people I actually like.
After. I picked up a few habits from there (and I very much enjoyed my time there, I just don't want it here), and herring for breakfast was one of them.
