    well, except that his rise to the top is suspect at best.

    but I'm sure if he doesn't get in, his family WON'T boycott the state of Illinois...or will they?

    Harold Ford Jr. would probably be a much better senator than Jesse Jackson Jr. Although it looks like Ford might run for governor of Tennessee in 2010 now, so Jesse will probably be Obama's replacement.
