I spend a lot of time on a Spurs board and they have brought up the prospect of trading Parker for some of our young talent. One of the proposals they have listed is Batum, Bayless, and Outlaw for Parker. Would you do that? Personally I would not.

i think i might do that deal, parker has been shooting alot better than when he was younger, and he can penetrate at will. with roy, lma, and oden, not to metion rudy, he would be a major force.

Bayless and TO yes, not Batum though. Perhaps Sergio instead of Batum and some picks? Raef as an expiring might be an added plus, how much does Parker make?

I would do that in a second. Trading could be's for legit stars is a no brainer. Especially when that star isn't very old.

No Brainer, three below average players (with good potential) for an all star PG that is in his prime. Come on guys this is an easy one, don't over value our guys. San Antonio would laugh in our face at this one.

With Duncan's window closing, why would the Spurs choose now to rebuild?

Yeah it would be hard to see Batum go, but I would do it.

This is a former Finals MVP we're talking about, and he's 26 and plays exactly the sort of game we need from our PG. I would trade any combination of players not including the Big 4. Hell, I could possibly be convinced to let go of Rudy also.

Amazed that people wouldn't trade three scrubs, no offense to any of them, for a legit all star PG. I love Rudy's game but I would include him in the deal to get Parker. Big game experience, played with a big man so he knows how to get him the ball and in his prime.

I don't think I'd be willing to give up Batum. Bayless and Outlaw sure, but there must be someone else...but it's not going to happen anyway.

I wouldn't think twice about getting Tony Parker for role players. IMO he's a top 3 PG in the nba.

The only players I wouldn't give up to get Parker are Roy, LA, Oden and Rudy. Everyone else would be available. This team needs a player EXACTLY like Parker. SA would be insane to get rid of him. If they want to rebuild, they are better off moving Duncan or Manu. Parker is still in his prime.

Right now I would trade Brandon for him.

    Parker
    Rudy
    Batum
    Aldridge
    Oden

    is better than

    Blake
    Roy
    Batum
    Aldridge
    Oden

And I love B-Roy and his game.
