No, you're right, it's Lyoto. He's there with them. I suppose they are waiting for a chance to talk about him, or maybe they won't, I dunno.
okay, that was hands down the most disgusting episode ever... I don't even want to go there. I can't wait to read Bader's Blog and post it here to see what he says. I guess the first unwritten rule about TUF Club is "Never eat another mans food" Was a quick yet good fight. It didn't look sloppy at all. Junie Brown needs to get his ass whupped for ratting out his own team mate like that. How can anyone trust this guy. He's all about himself IMO. I really thought that Dave Kaplan was going to be the 'next GSP/Anderson Silva' that Dana was hyping after hearing he trained in Holland with the legendary K-1 fighter Ernesto Hoost. Turns out I was totally wrong. Instead it's the fainting, nurse, Phillipe Nover! Who knew!!! looking forward to the next fight as the Canadian Boy Krzystof Soszynski is fighting!
If someone told you there were 3 really gross incidents on a reality show and that pissing in someone else's food was the LEAST offensive/gross.. well you'd have my morbid curiosity tweaked that's for sure.
Kyle holding the watermelon up over his mouth and letting the juice drip on his tongue made me gag. It almost makes me gag typing about it now. The duck fetus wasn't as bad as I've seen a fair bit of nasty Asian delicacies. I don't want to talk about the sushi, but like Bader said in his blog, anyone involved with sports for long enough sees worse stuff than that. I know I have.
I think Junie would be better off on the red team. His team doesn't look to take him seriously, they don't seem to really care about training him, atleast that's what the clip looked like. Obviously it's a 2 minute clip, so who really knows how much he is getting trained out there, but it looks like he wasn't getting the training he wanted. Big Nog seems to be fair to everyone on his team, and even though some of their practices are goofy, they train hard. I don't think Junie would be having that problem on the red team. I figured in the beginning that Phillipe was going to be one of the best fighters here. In the fights to get into the house, him and Junie looked the best from the lightweights no doubt about it. I just think Kaplan is a bitch though, couldn't even give Phillipe his due, had to say some bullcrap like he was better than Phillipe. No dude, if you was, your eye wouldn't have been all messed up.
from reading the Blogs that I've been posting, Junie was doing his own thing 1/2 the time too. He also has to realise that when a fighter has a fight coming up, the coaches have to concentrate on him. Nog did the goofy training when the team came in and look drained. Bader said in his blog that they did tons of hard training but Nog would create games too that were actually hard work but fun. A lot of the perception comes down to the editing. For example Kaplan didn't eat the sushi before his fight, it was like a week later.
I thought Krys was going to unload on Kyle but he held back. I think his thumb really is a big problem at this point. He's probably hoping he can win his next fight without damaging it then use the time between the last episode and the finale, which is a few months, to heal. The pranks were mild this week, which was better, but less entertaining. Krys should be thankful the furniture prank was his comeuppance considering how much worse he could've gotten it. So we noticed Lyoto Machida in Nogueria's camp last time, now we're noticing Demian Maia in Frank Mir's camp. Why isn't Spike mentioning these guys?
I still don't like Frank Mir, I hope Big Nog knocks him out(which I think might be likely, Mir is strictly a submission fighter almost,) and I hope it's a vicious knockout at that. After that soccer challenge, he just comes off as a sore looser to me, considering Nog said that he had never really played soccer before. They both had about the same skill at soccer. Not only that, I don't like pretty much his entire team past Junie, who seems to be really calming down. I liked when he made the comment about the other dudes acting stupid taking the heat off of him. As for the fight, Kyle wanted to throw some punches but after getting hammered a few times in the face, took Krystof down out of pure instinct I think. Dude was rocked and just lunged it looked like to me, as well as I don't think he really knew what was going on when he took Krystof down. I'm still hoping team Nogeura wins the whole thing, I like his team's attitude, and the more I see of Noguera he's slowly turning into one of my favorites in the UFC. Speeds-I agree, Krystof didn't land as many punches as you wanted, but he landed a few that looked like they hurt like hell.
so this episode was 1000 times less gross and the UFC storage room was a decent enough prank, but Krzystof's move the kitchen to the bball court was hilarious because that affected everyone and he did it in the middle of the night without anyone knowing. the fight was good, obviously Krzystof was hurting a bit and was trying to be cautious and get through without damaging his hand more. Looked like and easy win. Mir is a decent guy, but obviously somewhat arrogant, thinking he's '20 times' the athelete Nogeuira is. Regardless he's still losing to him come Dec 27th oh yeah, I keep missing these guys that Speeds is mentioning I have it on tape, will have to rewatch it now
^ Easy to not notice. I keep seeing in the blogs that Dave and the other guy were drinking shots of piss on the last episode. Did I just totally miss that?
I think it got edited out The guys who blog get an advanced copy of the espisode so maybe they had it in there and changed it at the last second.
It didnt get edited out. I watched it last night and it there was a scene where dave kaplan was drinking some piss looking substance. I think Frank Mir is pretty foolish to not be able to tell that Nog was cleary a novice at soccer just by how he kicked the ball. I am a little disappointed that Kyle lost, I kinda liked him but I am also glad Krystoff won.
Go to mmajunkie.com and read Ryan's 10 questions section. The most disgusting thing that almost happened isn't being mentioned. Apparently Ryan said (after they drank the urine) "who will eat my shit?" Well one of them agreed to do it so Ryan went and shit on a plate and cut it up for him. He had it (i forget who) in his mouth but then he smelled it before it touched his tongue or anything and he gagged.
Sportsnet (Canadian channel) showed the whole urine scene. I've never witnessed anything that random and disgusting before... okay... well that's not true, but it was still gross. How two seemingly normal guys can do that is beyond me.
Thanks for posting! I watched on Spike but not on SportsNet. I'll have to catch a replay to see it... Actually, on second thought, maybe I won't do that.
