Denver has been thinking for god only knows how many years that if they could just make enough nifty trades so they could just get enough older, quality veterans, they would be able to win. Come on, give me a break. Does that sound like it's enough to build a winning franchise? What about drafting? What about having a scheme or two or three? And what about working the star players into winning schemes that make sense? What about making sure those veterans don't end up like lone wolves the way Iverson was left to be? What about making sure they are fully integrated into the team?

McDyess knows that Denver does not know what it's doing and that Denver wants to blame the lack of winning on player styles and personalities and he wants no part of that. I wouldn't either.

The Nuggets are a joke and deserve all of the losing that will be coming their way. First they do not think it to be important to have an AI scheme that makes sense for them. Then, when they decide they can't afford Iverson anymore, they and their apologists trot out lines like "Allen is not a true point guard", and "His style was not working out for us." These are lame excuses if there ever were any. You are going to blame not making effective use of Allen Iverson (or any other star) on his style, on whether he is a true this or a true that? And assuming the laughable premise, if the style and flavor is not to your liking Madam, why did you order the dish? Laugh out loud.

The Nuggets franchise is a joke and deserves to be 15th in the West. (Don't know enough about the bad teams in the East to say whether the Nuggets should be behind all of those teams also, but the Grizzlies and the Thunder deserve to move ahead of Denver, laugh out loud.)
