<h3>Trachsel seeks consecutive wins against Blue Jays</h3>

BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- Though he's been one of the team's betterstarters, Steve Trachsel seeks back-to-back wins for the firsttime this season when the Baltimore Orioles host the TorontoBlue Jays on Wednesday.

Trachsel (2-3, 3.86 ERA) allowed two runs and four hits over 52/3 innings in a 5-4 win over the Washington Nationals lastFriday. The righthander has allowed two runs or less in five ofhis nine starts this season, including his last one against theBlue Jays on April 22 when he allowed one run in 5 1/3 innings.

Toronto starter Dustin McGowan (0-1, 8.22) will be making hisfourth start of the season. The 25-year-old righthander has hadhis problems thus far, allowing 14 earned runs and 10 walks in15 1/3 innings.

Toronto posted a 6-4 victory to earn its first win in four gamesat Baltimore this season. It was just the second victory forthe Blue Jays in their last 10 road games.

Jeremy Accardo pitched the ninth for his fourth save of theseason and has not allowed an earned run in 20 innings thisseason.

Vernon Wells had an RBI single in the win and, in 103 careergames against the Orioles, is batting .294 (119-for-405) with 23home runs and 72 RBI.

Mired in an 0-for-17 slump, Corey Patterson was held out of theOrioles' lineup for the second straight game on Tuesday.
