To echo what you said, this is why we love the National Basketball Association. Best finish since Dwight's alley-oop winner against the Spurs? Or go further and call it the best finish since T-Mac's 13 in 35? Or go even further yet and dub it the best finish since Fisher's 0.4? Note that this is 8 points, two lead changes, in 1.9 seconds. Incredible.
holy crap, that's awesome! I'm really kicking myself in the butt for falling asleep at the start of the 4th, thinking Houston was going to win. Blazers are my 2nd team in the west behind Hornets.
Man that was so fucked up for us. I was soooooo happy when Yao made the shot in like a second and HE GOT FOULED! Which gave us the lead, but who friggin knew that we would just play lazy defense and give them one more shot at the win. AND HE MAKES IT! WTF I swear I was going to cry. That game was so frustrating for us and we almost had it pulled out at the end. I'm still pissed. Fuck the Blazers. Yes I said it.
nice scoring pace... 8 poins scored in the last 1,5 seconds too bad they didn't go with this pace all the way... That would have been 15360 points betwwen the two teams in the game
I'm so glad I stayed up to finish the game. I'm not a Blazers fan, but when Roy with that shot I let out a little yell. Gotta love the Blazers man..young scrappy team.
at least your classy and have dignity in defeat jp man my heart was broken when yao hit that shot too. rockets played a hell'of a game for sure!
espn said the game clock started late and roy's shot took 1.6 seconds. Catch, pivot, square up, shoot. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dime-081107 good shot though. Nice time keeping.
Yeah I watched it live on TNT as it was happening. Portland fans thought they won after Roy's first shot then Yao responded w/ a dagger and1 and the who arena was punched in the gut, TNT thought it was over and then Roy just prooved how clutch of a performer he is. Seriously 3 more yrs. from if this guy hits FA expect many teams to break the bank on him. I haven't seen special players like him in some time.
There is no way Roy shot that in .8 of a second. But I don't care as long as it wasn't against the Nets.
