Unless they only take Luke, then no. We have a Gerald Wallace-like player in Trevor so having Gerald would be redundant considering we would probably have to give up Lamar or one of our starters. So, again, unless they only take Luke and fillers, then no.
Which are still a pretty scary thing. Despite what kind of injury issues he has, they're still issues nonetheless, and I don't know if I want to bring in a guy that probably won't play the entire season.
Ariza isn't exactly an Iron Man himself and neither is Odom who suffers from mental ineptness. It'd be ironic if he was on the same team as Kobe though. I remember when Wallace was a rookie for the Kings, the Maloofs said in 10 years people won't be comparing Gerald to Kobe, they will be comparing Kobe to Gerald.
Wallace is a much better player than Ariza. I think he'll give the Lakers more balance too... if he and Bynum are healthy. -Petey
Possibly, but it depends on what the Lakers have to give up to acquire him. We're undefeated right now and our average margin of victory has been 20 points. I'd rather not make any drastic changes.
