If you had to trade one and keep the other, which would it be?

That is tough since it isn't a question who should start, but who would you keep...

If we traded Blake, Bayless would eventually take the starting spot as Sergio wouldn't be too great w/ the starting unit as he wouldn't have the ball in his hands too often.

But I think i'd rather keep Sergio... but i'd rather start Blake if i had to pick between the 2... Sergio has more potential and is younger... Blake is as good as he will be and is a solid veteran backup... spot minutes in the playoffs max... 15mpg max, imo.

Whichever one gets us the better return. Neither have shown enough to be worth worrying about keeping if we can get good value for them.

Why can't we just trade Nate?

100% correct. Blake is better right now, but he's topped out in terms of upside. Sergio might never get to Blake's level, but he also could evolve into something far better (it took Calderon a while to find his jumper, too!)

I don't know that either have that much value. I'd be sad to see either leave, but if it's part of a big trade I'll live with it.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
If the value received back were the same, I'd rather trade Blake. Blake has achieved the highest level he ever will, and is not a championship-caliber starter. Blake was acquired for a song and a similar level player can be acquired again if disaster strikes and Portland can't find a superior guard.

Rodriguez at least has a chance to be a good player.

More Sergio, a lot less Blake. I don't care what anyone says, the ball moves better with it in Sergios hands. We saw how far it moved yesterday in Roys hands.

I'm still waiting for more Bayless! I wasn't too impressed with the defense of either Blake or Sergio and would like Bayless to get a chance to show what he can do offensively. Defensively, I like the look of the starting five with Bayless and Batum.
