    Under Carlisle, Dallas' halfcourt game still looks the same. Kidd dribbles the ball up, hands it off, waits on the perimeter, while the player in position of the ball isolates. Notice how it's not working...yeah.

    Well, you really can't blame Carlisle. At this point in his career, what can Kidd really do? The dude isn't quick enough to get past the guards guarding him, and he isn't explosive or crafty enough to finish at the rim. His only chance is to hang around the perimeter and take 3s. Even if Kidd decides to drive, people know he is driving to dish and not driving to score.

    I should have been hired. I could turn Devin Harris into the next Kyle Lowry.

    Regardless of Kidd's passing mentality, teams will still collapse when he heads to the hoop. No team is going to risk giving up a layup to any player.
