Clippers are playing poorly this year, and the Rockets need to take advantage of the Clippers. Yao needs to have a great game, with a great start AND finish. The entire Rockets team had slow starts to their games against Portland, and we cannot allow that to happen again.

The Rockets should win, but who really knows. They aren't playing great ball right now. Battier is out, and Chuck might be out as well. We could struggle defensively.

For how poorly we played so far this year, I'm glad we are 3-2. I mean we haven't had ONE good game yet. I attribute alot of our early wins to Ron's defense in the 4th quarters. We are very fortunate so far. I expect us to really turn it on (if we're healthy) at midseason. So for now, I'll take whatever wins we can get, but we still don't look comfortable together yet. So give it time.

I want to see how Thornton defends Artest in the post tonight. Rockets are coming off a tough road loss last night and the Clippers are hungry to get in the W column. I could see the Clippers pulling a minor upset tonight.

So I noted that TMac barely played? Any reason for that?

My initial assumption is he probably tweaked his back, but I could be wrong.

He was in there in the 3rd quarter, which I could see from the highlights. Other than that, I don't know a thing. He finished with 2pts.

I think T-Mac is done. He's played so poorly it's ridiculous. I mean we just saw AI get traded, could T-Mac be next? I hear Charlotte is unloading Gerald Wallace, he's a defensive energy guy, would we be interested?

Nah, T-mac is far from done. He had nothing left in the tank after he played a monster game in Portland the night before. He wasn't in perfect game shape to start the season and so he just wore out. I expect him to be back in time for the Lakers. Two days should give him a chance to rest.

TMac Done? pass that good shit this way

He carried the rockets in the last two games, only losses because Yao and Ron did nothing but change into uniform..........
And I'll try to steer clear of mentioning how Horrible Skip is playing because so many people love him

The offense still looks like garbage
I thought Les got Rick because he was this guru of the princeton motion offense, so when are we going to see it

all i see is lazy passing, one on one play and poor rebounding
where are the back picks, slashing to the basket, or even a couple high post passes from yao

thank god we played a horrible team

In the second of a back to back game against Dallas, TMac sat most of the fourth
could be the same deal here since he had no camp and can't be in the best shape right now

He said he was tired before the game after playing 44 minutes the night before. And apparently he had "flu-like symptoms" as well.

I noticed he was covering his face with a towel when he sat down. Was wondering what that was all about, but now it makes sense.

Even though we're 4-2...we're still under achieving, especially Yao. I'm as big a Yao fan there is, but his stats are really mediocre for what he's capable of...he lacks consistency...well, to be fair pretty much most of Houston's starting line up lacks consistency (barring Scola). We're 4-2 (thanks to sub-par shooting performances), if we were really playing up to full potential, we'd be blowing teams out.
