It would be nice, but I think it is more likely that he is doing for for morale/psychological reasons. You want an injured player to feel like he is still part of the team.

It will be 2 weeks since the injury on Tuesday so I think it's likely that he'll play at some point during the road trip.

That would be grest so you could see him!

But if he's not ready I don't want to have this drag out any longer than it needs to because he comes back to early. I don't think he can do any extra damage by playing from what I've read, but if he plays in a game and doesn't finish or can't play the next game we are going to have to read all type of shit about it.

I kinda hope that he doesnt play again until the 19th at home vs. Chicago, that way if he gets hurt again at least the hometown can see him in a game.

I think it will be good for him to be out on the road with the team. He won't feel so isolated.

That's probably the main reason he's coming on the trip. I don't think they intend to play Oden at all.

That's the game I'm hoping he'll play in too. I'll be at that game so it'd be nice to be able to see him in his first home game. But as long as he doesn't have a set back it'd be nice if he got a couple games on the road to get in a little better shape before that game.

If he is ready - they should probably bring him off the bench for a short amount of time - just to get the jitters away.

Back to the starting line and world domination when they are back home...

I cringe everytime I think of Oden getting out on the court. I feel like it's just a matter of time until he gets injured again.

Anybody else feel the same way?

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we're ever going to be able to count on him.
