Seriously, that article was goofy. Curry makes more in 2010 than Wallace, so they'd actually help their 2010 goal by trading Curry for Wallace.

Not to mention the fact that they're very likely to be able to trade Wallace further down the road. Since, you know, he's productive, has an insured contract, and actually seems to enjoy playing basketball.

I mean, suggesting anything else is just fucking goofy.

I don't know why the Bobcats would accept this trade.

From a Knicks perspective, it's a good move. But I don't know how Wilson Chandler will fit into things though.

Larry Brown is a fan of Curry and Curry had some success in his system. It also allows Okafor to play his natural position.

I'm also confused why the Bobcats and especially Brown want to deal Gerald Wallace. I figured he'd be the featured player in Brown's system because he plays hard on defense.

I don't know, Shape. He only put up 13/6 that season, not to mention being a horrible defender and extremely foul and turnover prone. An ideal Larry Brown center will be Deke Mutombo, Ben Wallace, or Theo Ratliff.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't think Curry is washed up. Two years ago he was one of the best low post players and was #1 in points in the paint and #5 in free throw attempts. The Zach Randolph trade deflated his confidence and his motivation. If Larry Brown can (somehow) motivate Curry, then it won't be as bad a trade - they still are giving up Gerald Wallace.
