Aside from Charlotte getting fooked in the hiney, 4 team deals are literally unheard of ... 3 ways (yeah baby) can be swung when a third party is below the cap and can eat some excess salary, but I'd at least prefer to weigh in on the merits of a trade that is at least theoretically possible.
Roy Fernandez Wallace Aldridge Oden Felton Webster Batum Diogu/(Wallace) Przybilla Bayless LaFrentz Plus we would have enough cap space in the summer to go after a backup 4 and some experience at other positions. I really didn't think so much of this deal at first, but it's like they say: most of the time the team that gets the best player is the one who comes out on top. I feel like this trade is only made possible by Nic Batum turning out to be a decent player.
Please note that the basis for this trade scenario is this article here. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/55312/20081108/bobcats_covet_curry/ Charlotte apparently thinks Wallace for Curry is a good deal. Swapping Felton out for Blake makes a lot of sense for them, especially if they receive a draft pick or two on top of everything else.
don't trade travis..as we saw tonight, he is too freaking clutch. He is flat out better than Marty, or keep both and bench Channing.
I have long been a Travis detractor but the guy has been playing big lately. Makes it tough to trade him. On the other hand, it may raise his trade value as well. Whatever KP thinks I'll accept (as though I have a choice) Gramps...
