Interesting. This move would essentially be in opposition to what the team is trying to do (clear up cap space for 2010), but Carroll's salary is front-loaded. Definitely intriguing.
wow. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Caroll is a good shooter - exactly what this team lacks if Carter doesn't make a basket. Also we'd cleared a logjam of bigs.

matt carroll is a great shooter and i would have no problem with that casue we lose Haskell and swat who clearly isn't ready for prime time for a solid bench player who will help the nets inside outside game a lot. pull the trigger thorn. Carroll would help immediately while you won't see anything from sean for a while.
I hope he gets traded for HIS sake. He's a Net second and an athlete first. An athlete wants to play, period. For all you people reading this post with the power to get the deal done PLEASE, get Sean in and get him playin....consistantly. No way. Carroll's contract is horrible and he won't do anything more than Hayes or Simmons are already doing.
You pay for shooters, especially one of Carroll's caliber. He's also a guy who can bring the ball up and makes the smart pass. He's not Raja Bell type defender by any means but the dude works his ass off and Frank would adore him.
