Lol this was great. I'm going to explain this next time I have a girl over and we are... well... yea....
lol. God sure is smart. He came up with the perfect fruit and then made it a native plant in about 1% of the planet, ensuring it was available to all of his children (who happened to live in that place). And, incidentally, not within 3000 miles of His only son. And He made sure to stick large, hard seeds in wild bananas, so that man would have to warp his creation through careful breeding to make something easier to digest. Yep, God thinks of everything. I guess the real point, though, is that God wants us to think of eating bananas as a wholly natural act, and it in no way resembles fellating another man's penis. Because that's bad.
That was sure convincing. I've seen some of the other "proofs" that Cameron has come up with, and they're all like this. Really poorly thought out, and not worth listening to.
Hey amazingly enough all of their proofs are that way. It's just nobody questions them because that is what they are taught to believe on day 1.
I'm actually having trouble wooing a girl for this reason. She is extremely religious.. as in she is dropping out of college to go to a bible school and find god. I on the other hand am not an atheist, I just don't know. I don't like believing in things where I don't have full proof. Not saying I don't believe in God, I just don't know. But I think that bothers her, and is a deal breaker.
I guess I'm an agnostic. I dont know I just don't put a lot of thought into it. I don't know what to believe. Anyone can claim there is or isn't a God. I dont know. And yes hasoos, I just can't seem to find anyone agreeable.
i think you'll find most people that call themselves atheists don't claim to know if there is or isn't a creator in the generic sense. the term more refers to someone who has rejected specific religious theisms based on lack of or contrary evidence. in that sense even religious people are atheists when it comes to all gods but their own. "atheists" just believe in one less god than they do.
Atheism is the realization that mythical beings are, well, mythical. For clarification see "logic", "common sense", or "absence of gullibility". As for the girl who traded college for bible "school"...you dodged a bullet.
