The Atlanta Hawks travel to Chicago to face the Bulls on a perfect 5-0 record. MVP candidate Joe Johnson and his Hawks continue on without rising star Josh Smith (JSMOOVE!) and continue that perfect streak. The Bulls on the other hand are coming off of a second loss to Lebron and the Cavaliers and are looking to redeem themselves against what looks to be an elite team in the East (the Atlanta Hawks) and give them their first loss of the season. It'll be a scoring face off between Ben Gordon and Joe Johnson: both are known for scoring in masses. How will this match up turn out? a W for the Bulls or another L? Key Players on the Bulls that need to step up: Derrick Rose (defensively and offensively) Mike Bibby has been red hot thus far this season Ben Gordon (defensively and offensively) he'll have to guard Joe Johnson so he'll need to score and attempt to stop JJJoe Johnson...which will be a challenge for Gordon. Luol Deng (offensively) he'll need to play decent defense as well but he'll need to put way more effort in executing offensively and getting points Aaron Gray (defensively) Al Horford is a good scorer so he'll need to be clamped...a few points from him would be nice but more defensive hustle from him Tyrus Thomas (defensively) Tyrus is too iffy on offense to rely on so he can make it up by hustling on defense To watch the game: Tune in on League Pass Broadband at 8:30 ET or maybe there will be a link live stream in here.
Hey BG7 if you have a live stream for this game, please let me know....I kinda want to watch this game.
Around game time I might be able to find a stream. I'll personally be watching it on NBA League Pass Broadband.
Exactly 22 years ago, the Chicago Bulls defeated the 5-0 Atlanta Hawks to give them their first loss of the season.
I advocated another good dose of Tyrus over the next month or so, but I don't know if I can make it that long. He's brutal and getting worse with each outing.
(this is where I hope he turns it around and shows me up) So much for the terribly tall Joe Johnson taking it to us though.
Joe is always quite during the first half, sometimes the whole game. Thats where he gets the praise for being so unselfish
Gordon is doing a good job of slowing down Johnson. On the flipside, while Gordon's game stats are good so far, Johnson has played solid defense on Gordon and not allowed him to get a ton of space to go off.
This game is being lost on the inside. Zaza and Horford are tearing up Noah, Gray and Tyrus. Bibby's showing off Rose's inexperience, but the real killer is inside. God, Tyrus is fucking terrible tonight.
Rose is going to have to take this game by the horns and lead us to victory. I wouldn't count Gordon out of this yet, but it looks like he's going to have to spend a night in the gym to recallibrate his shot.
Down by 4 after a nice fastbreak pass by Thabo to Luol for the Dunk...81 - 85....it looks like we can win, but the Bulls really need to learn how not to get into these situations this often.
Fucking turnovers....this Chicago team is absolutely meaningless together....we need players who make better decisions and plays tighter defense....Rose is the only one excused because he's new. This is unreal.
