Pretty annoying bullshit, imho. You agree or disagree - no problems - but the insinuation that you know more than others "because you know the game" is annoying me, and I usually like Eric's posts even when they are too Blazers optimistic...
When you think about it about, the Lakers haven't really proven much this season. Beat the Clips twice. Beat a Blazers team with 40% of its starting lineup on the floor. I expect a stream of losses soon now that they're playing some real teams. Look for the Mavs to win by double digits tonight.
Rat-hole. What's the deal with all the trash talking? I'd sure love to have a "disappointing" center on an undefeated team. I look forward to the first injury-free Oden/Bynum slug-fest, and then let the feathers fly.
Not their fault at all. They just haven't had the opportunity to prove they're any good. Blazers, meanwhile, have played much tougher competition and are without 40% of their lineup and they've still won only 1 less game than the Lakers.
Hey man, I'm a Blazer fan; my comment had nothing to do with any preference for Bynum as a talent. I just think calling him a disappointment at the beginning of the season is ridiculous. Umm, yeah, like checkmate and stuff.
every site has there pests (including my site) and KingSpeed is that guy here. LOL. Don't get me wrong, I like you KS
speaking of living in the past rizzle, you actually only own anzen still i believe, and to be honest, you only previously owned me and kingspeed, and his handle at the time was zackaddy, so really, get your fucking shit together
Not their fault that the schedule gave them a relatively weak start to the season. What happened to this double digit lost you were speaking of though? The Mavs were well on their way...and then the Lakers defense stepped up and held them to 39 second half points. That is why the Lakers are the best team in the NBA. They came back from a big deficit tonight and dominated the second half. That's what great teams do, and that's what they did tonight.
While they're only a couple back now in the win column (they were one back prior to the Lakers 'W' tonight), they're still 3 back in the loss column. You are right about the schedule...the Blazers have had a rough start to the season. However...they've had some relatively "easy" games. They played a Spurs team that wasn't (and still isn't) at full health and struggled against them, they also played a putrid Minnesota team. The good teams that they have played have beaten them handily though (Phoenix, Utah, and LA). The Lakers have had a relatively easy schedule, but to their credit, they haven't taken anyone lightly and have pounded opponents, winning by an average of over 19 points per game, holding every opponent to under 100, while scoring no fewer than 96 points.
